"La Maison de Montagne" (The Mountain House) welcomes you to the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Located just five minutes from Camelback Lodge, this light-filled, enchanting home was renovated in the French rural farmhouse style. You’ll find gorgeous hardwoods, custom industrial accents, and high quality craftsmanship throughout.
There’s plenty of space to comfortably hang out in the living room which has a massive sectional. The fireplace and large TV on the custom feature wall make it the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or hot chocolate after a long day of skiing or hiking.
You’ll love cooking or even just making a cup of coffee before hitting the slopes in the completely updated chef’s kitchen where you’ll find high quality stainless steel appliances and a gorgeous apron-front copper sink. Dine comfortably in the breakfast nook which seats six, or the full dining table which seats eight.
The outdoor spaces are a delight even in the winter. Rest your tired muscles in the hot tub, or make s’mores over the fire pit. You’ll also find a deck with a patio set and propane grill (propane included) just off the kitchen, and a picnic table and hammock near the firepit. There’s plenty of room to play cornhole or other outdoor games in the warmer months.
Three of the bedrooms contain plush king-size beds and the fourth bedroom contains bunk beds; all are adorned with the finest linens. In total, there’s plenty of space for eight to have a great night’s rest. Each bedroom has more than enough storage space for your luggage and gear, and each bedroom also has its own TV.

Summary: Great communication with the owner. Easy check in process. House was exactly as described in the listing. Clean. Well stocked. Great amenities. Comfortable. Excellent location. Close to a wide variety of stores. Restaurants. Activities. A minute off a main road. Very convenient. Would definitely recommend. If I had anything "negative" to say, it's minor stuff. Could use a dish drain and few kitchen towels. Maybe a couple larger inside door mats to keep from tracking debris into the house (we kept it clean). All very minor little stuff that doesn't detract from the rating of this home. We had a great time. Hope to return for next year's trip..

Summary: Thank you for the stay! What a beautiful and lovely home. This home is very welcoming, very clean, organized. There’s nothing negative about this home. Surely I was at peace, everything you need is there the hot tub, the fire pit. My favorite place was the back porch were I had my coffee every morning to listen to nature. My grandkids loved the fact they had their own room and the game room is super cool, with a pool table and a classic arcade game with 80’s games. Only suggestion, a safety guard should be available for toddlers at the entryway downstairs to game room.especially if you have hyper toddlers lol. I thank you and God bless!

Summary: Everything we needed. Family weekend away. Communication with the host was excellent: friendly, and responsive. Comfortable stay. Kitchen had everything we needed for basics like coffee, etc. we didn’t attempt any meals there but looks like we could have with pots and pans etc. Kids braved the hot tub outside in freezing cold temps.
